igourmet 4-oz. Genmaicha (Popcorn Tea)
Genmaicha is a specialty green (a fa top grade Japanese Sencha) blended with another typically Japanese ingredient, fire-toasted rice. The fresh vegetative character of the green tea is imparted on the cup but is tempered by the starchy character of the rice. There is a natural sweetness character finite group theory and almost chewy character to the finish of this tea. During the firing of the rice, it is not uncommon for rice to 'pop' like popcorn, hence the pet name 'popcorn-tea'.Legend has it, during the 1400's in Hakone on the Izu Peninsula (near Shizuoka) of Honshu Island an important Samurai warlord was having morning tea discussing a battle strategy with his patrol leaders. A servant by the name of Genamai was serving hot tea to the group. Leaning over to give tea to the warlord, some rice that he had surreptitiously taken for a morning snack fell out of his pocket into the steaming tea. A few grains popped upon hitting the warlord's piping hot tea. The warlord was incensed, character finite group theory and jumped up brandishing his samurai sword. Legends says he promptly cut off Genamai's head in one fell swoop. He then sat down to continue the meeting. Despite the fact that the tea had been tarnished, he drank it anyway. The flavor was unique, character finite group theory and perhaps even more enjoyable than his typical tea that had been prepared without the addition of rice. In honor of poor Genamai he pronounced that this recipe of rice character finite group theory and tea be served every morning character finite group theory and be called 'Genmaicha' (cha being the name of 'tea' in Japanese)

Finite group - In mathematics, a finite group is a group which has finitely many elements. Some aspects of the theory of finite groups were investigated in great depth in the twentieth century, in particular the local theory, and the theory of solvable groups and nilpotent groups.

Residually finite group - In mathematics, in the realm of group theory, a group is said to be residually finite or finitely approximable if for each nonidentity element in the group, there is a normal subgroup of finite index not containing that element. Equivalently, a group is residually finite if and only if ...

Character group - In mathematics, a character group is the group of representations of a group by complex-valued functions. The term character also arises in a different but related context, that of character theory.

Character theory - In mathematics, more specifically in group representation theory, the character of a group representation is a function which associates to each element of the group an element of the field of the representation space. The character encodes many important properties of the group and can thus be used to ...
